About This Place

Located in the heart of Ewing Township, New Jersey, CAFÉ Seventy Two is a charming brunch and breakfast restaurant that masterfully blends comfort with culinary creativity. Whether you're stopping by for a leisurely weekend meal or a quick morning boost, this spot delivers an inviting atmosphere with a modern, outdoorsy vibe that instantly puts you at ease. The intimate interior, adorned with tasteful rustic decor, complements the lively but laid-back energy you’ll find throughout your visit.

CAFÉ Seventy Two’s menu is a celebration of bold flavors and comforting classics, elevated with thoughtful twists to excite every palate. Start off with their indulgent Funnel Cake Fries — crisp, golden, and perfectly sweet — or opt for a creamy Toasted Coconut Caramel Marshmallow Iced Coffee, a decadent pick me up with its silky caramel and whipped cream finish. Coffees and specialty drinks here are as much a highlight as the food; customer April Ott raved about her exceptional latte experience, while others applaud the strength and consistency of their coffee pours.

The brunch menu pulses with variety: from the rich, satisfying Wild Mushroom Omelette brimming with truffle oil and caramelized onions to the classic, perfectly balanced Traditional Eggs Benedict adorned with Canadian bacon and velvety hollandaise. For those who crave something uniquely flavorful, the Cajun Shrimp Benedict and Pulled Pork Benedict introduce vibrant spices and textures that truly stand out. Sweet tooths will find nirvana with the Cannoli French Toast or the whimsically festive Elf French Toast, a dessert-like treat layered with vanilla cream, chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows dusted in powdered sugar.

Dishes like the Chicken and Waffle illustrate the kitchen’s skill at marrying savory and sweet, delivering a satisfying crunch with tender, flavorful chicken. The Guacamole B.L.T. Benedict offers a fresh, creamy twist on savory breakfast fare, while healthy yet hearty options like the California Omelette, packed with egg whites, bacon, pico de gallo, and guacamole, satisfy those seeking balance without compromising flavor.

What truly makes CAFÉ Seventy Two stand out is not just the thoughtfully curated menu but the attentive, warm service that accompanies each visit. Customers consistently highlight the staff’s friendliness and promptness, with particular applause for servers like Jennifer and Hazel, who elevate the dining experience by blending efficiency with genuine care. Adrienne Johnson describes the atmosphere as relaxed and inviting—perfect for celebrating special occasions or simply relishing a well-crafted meal.

Although the restaurant fills quickly, especially on bustling weekends, the seamless service ensures food arrives quickly and piping hot, keeping guests satisfied and eager to return. While parking is limited to two hours, creating a minor challenge as Mike Catalonello points out, the overall experience more than compensates, making it a beloved local gem.

Whether you’re in the mood for an exquisitely brewed cappuccino, crave the comforting embrace of cinnamon roll pancakes, or want to savor a savory delight like the Corned Beef Benedict, CAFÉ Seventy Two promises a brunch experience that delights all your senses. It’s a spot where inventive dishes meet heartfelt hospitality, inviting you to slow down and savor every bite in an atmosphere that feels like a cozy neighborhood retreat.

I have been here a few times, and most recently went for my birthday (12/27). It is a really laidback environment, which I prefer. The staff is friendly, you are greeted as you walk through the door, and seated immediately. The wait staff is also very quick to take your drink order, and food order if you are ready. The food was delicious, made quick, and hot! It will definitely be one of my go-to spots.

Our breakfast was amazing great spot & specials it came out & extremely friendly. Jennifer was our waitress thumbs up. Plate was out in a timely manner. The only thing is the parking only 2 hour parking in lot which is a pain.

What a cute and quaint little place with AMAZING food and a great latte! Not to mention Hazel… so sweet, soft spoken and very attentive. So glad we chose this place so close to the airport after landing. I want to visit every time we come into town.

Very nice breakfast place. Food was great, service ok, even though we had little problem, but they tried to fix it. We ordered chicken and waffles and asked for no toppings on it,literally nothing. But it came with powdered sugar. Then when they returned the dish without it,the chicken was still sweet. Other then that everything was great. Side sausage was very delicious along with guacamole toast. Weekend reservation highly recommend!

First time visiting & we loved it. The place was hopping this Sunday & the staff was on point, sweet & service was quick. Menu is inventive but not pretentious. Coffee is strong & kept full. Inside is smallish, with chick, outdoorsy decor & outside is open, with really smart thick turf to soften up the spaces. We had the chicken waffles & wild mushroom omelet. Both delish. The Benedict options are intriguing, so we will return soon! Highly recommend.

We love to go here fro breakfast! They have such a great menu and the staff are all very helpful! We have also gotten some of their specialty seasonal drinks like the chai tea and the flavored hot chocolate drinks...they are legitimate artworks! its a small location but it has a really nice quaint feel and the breakfast tastes great!
